Crown Prince Frederik sees how Afghan refugees have been helped since the fall of Kabul ? Royal Central

QuoteThe Red Cross is an organization that is close to the heart of the Danish royal family. For many years, Prince Henrik was the patron of the organization and deeply involved in their work. After Prince Henrik?s death, Crown Prince Frederik took over his father?s patronage. On January 26th 2022, the Danish Crown Prince received an update on the organisation?s work to help Afghan refugees is going.

Through the project ?Friends Show the Way?, which is a nationwide collaboration between the Red Cross and the Danish Refugee Council, more than 9.000 refugees have been assigned a volunteer friend or family of friends since 2016. Crown Prince Frederik joined a meeting at the organization?s volunteer house, where he had the opportunity to talk to three of the Afghans who were evacuated from Afghanistan last year and employees and volunteers from The Red Cross, which, among other things, helps refugees to settle in Denmark.

Sounds good! I bet Izzie is really looking forward to joining her sibling at the school and making new friends. Whether Christian is joyful about his little sister joining his school community might be another matter, but that?s the nature of teenage boys, isn?t it, lol?
