QuoteIt was quite a festive celebration, as Queen Letizia and King Felipe marked the 40th anniversary of the National Hospital of Paraplegics in Toledo on Tuesday involving various table sports. The hospital, which is the centre of reference in Spain for the rehabilitation of spinal cord injuries, was inaugurated 40 years ago by Felipe's parents, King Juan Carlos and Queen Sofia, and yesterday, Felipe and Letizia marked the milestone anniversary by unveiling a commemorative plaque at the hospital.

Felipe and Letizia received a guided tour around the facilities and learned about radiology and physiotherapy before meeting with some of the hospital's patients and their families. And this was where the fun really began.
