Sory to say you that...but there is no official announcement of a pregnancy yet...There are just speculations because they have been married for nearly two months, and Marie recently didn't show at an official event without any reason given.

But maybe she really is (I really hope so!!!!) and they are waiting the end of her first trimester to reveal it!!!

Ahhh, the trials of being a newly married royal. At least they gave them a couple months before they started speculating...wonder how long Autumn has. Well, if its true, congrats to the happy couple.  :flower:

She looks pregant these days...but she was drinking champagne at the fashion show. ???

But her sister-in-law also drank champagne during her first pregnancy...

I was about to say that I had not heard anything about this either... :laugh: It's the story of life and persecution. Apparently one cannot escape those nagging speculations that begin the moment one ties the knot.

Marie's French. I would be surprised if she felt a pressing need to not drink champagne simply because she was pregnant. Lots of French women do so, and the children they produce are among the smartest in Europe, IMO, especially the female ones.

I think it's wonderful news... however, I've always wondered why people have to announce their pregnancies at such an early date. She's barely 3 months pregnant, if they expect a birth in May. She is immediately going to be under great scrutiny and stress as a result, in which case anything is possible. Why could they not have waited until she was in the 4th or 5th month, or at best, until after or around Christmas to make the announcement?

That said, I hope it's twins! :)

I believe doctors think an occasional glass is all right. If Marie were slugging vodka or hard liquor, then there would be cause for concern.

I do not think she drunk a lot, just occasionally and now she would not drink!
