The King received the Baroness Scotland of Asthal (Commonwealth Secretary-General) this afternoon.

His Majesty held a Council at 4.15 p.m.
There were present: the Rt Hon Penelope Mordaunt MP (Lord President), the Rt Hon Alexander Chalk MP (Lord Chancellor and Secretary of State for Justice), the Rt Hon Oliver Dowden MP (Deputy Prime Minister, Chancellor of the Duchy of Lancaster and Secretary of State in the Cabinet Office) and the Rt Hon Gregory Hands MP (Minister for Trade Policy and Minister for London).

At the Council, The King pricked the List of High Sheriffs for the Counties of England (other than Cornwall and those in the Duchy of Lancaster) and Wales.

After the Council, the Rt Hon Oliver Dowden MP had an audience of The King when His Majesty pricked the List of High Sheriffs for the Counties of the Duchy of Lancaster.

Mr Richard Tilbrook was in attendance as Clerk of the Council.

The Rt Hon Sir Clive Alderton (Principal Private Secretary to Their Majesties) was in attendance.

The Rt Hon Penelope Mordaunt MP had an audience of The King before the Council.

Later, the Rt Hon Rishi Sunak MP (Prime Minister and First Lord of the Treasury) had an audience of His Majesty.

The Queen, Honorary Member, the Jockey Club, today attended the Cheltenham Festival at Cheltenham Racecourse, and was received by His Majesty's Lord-Lieutenant of Gloucestershire (Mr Edward Gillespie).

The Rt Hon James Cleverly MP (Secretary of State for the Home Department) was received in audience by His Majesty today.

Dr Timothy Evans was received by The King this afternoon upon relinquishing his appointment as Apothecary to Queen Elizabeth II and Apothecary to the Royal Household, when His Majesty invested him with the Insignia of a Commander of the Royal Victorian Order.

Mr Stuart Anderson MP (Vice-Chamberlain of the Household) was received in audience by The King and presented an Address from the House of Commons to which His Majesty was graciously pleased to make reply.

The Rt Hon Rishi Sunak MP (Prime Minister and First Lord of the Treasury) had an audience of The King.

The Queen, representing The King, Lord of Mann, having been received by the Lieutenant Governor of the Isle of Man (Lieutenant General Sir John Lorimer), this afternoon conferred City status on the borough of Douglas at Douglas Borough Council, Town Hall, Ridgeway Street, Douglas, and subsequently met members of the local community. Her Majesty later attended a Reception given by the Lieutenant Governor at Government House, Onchan.

The Queen subsequently received Trustees of the Joanna Simpson Foundation at Government House.

His Excellency Mr Mbelwa Kairuki was received in audience by The King today and presented the Letters of Recall of his predecessor and his own Letters of Commission as High Commissioner for the United Republic of Tanzania in London.

His Excellency Mr Ng Teck Hean was received in audience by The King and presented the Letters of Recall of his predecessor and his own Letters of Commission as High Commissioner for the Republic of Singapore in London.

Mrs Mok Ling Ling was also received by His Majesty.

Ms Corin Robertson (Director-General, Finance and Corporate, Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office) was present.

The Queen this morning visited Coffey's Butchers, Arcadia Delicatessen and Knott's Bakery at 380, 378 and 376 Lisburn Road, Belfast, and was received by His Majesty's Lord-Lieutenant of the County Borough of Belfast (Dame Fionnuala Jay-O'Boyle).

Her Majesty, Colonel-in-Chief, The Rifles, later attended the 2nd Battalion Pass Off Parade at Thiepval Barracks, Magheralave Road, Lisburn, and was received by His Majesty's Lord-Lieutenant of County Antrim (Mr David McCorkell).

The Queen, Patron, The Queen's Reading Room, this afternoon attended a Performance and Reception at Hillsborough Castle.

Today, His Majesty The King was joined by Community and Faith Leaders, who are alumni of the Windsor Leadership Trust, at Buckingham Palace.

The King heard about their involvement in The Faith Leader's Forum where they had an opportunity to openly share their experiences of leading in their communities at a time of heightened international tensions.

The King this morning received faith leaders who have been supported by the Windsor Leadership Trust.

Mr John Lynes was received by The King today upon relinquishing his appointment in the Royal Household when His Majesty invested him with the Insignia of a Commander of the Royal Victorian Order.

Her Majesty this afternoon visited Shrewsbury Flaxmill Maltings, Spring Gardens, Shrewsbury, and, as President, met representatives from the Royal Voluntary Service.

His Excellency Mr Epimeni Bapfinda was received in audience by The King today and presented the Letters of Recall of his predecessor and his own Letters of Credence as Ambassador from the Republic of Burundi to the Court of St James's.

Mrs Languide Nzoyihera was also received by His Majesty.

His Excellency Mr Ruslan Bolbocean was received in audience by The King and presented the Letters of Recall of his predecessor and his own Letters of Credence as Ambassador from the Republic of Moldova to the Court of St James's.

Mrs Bolbocean was also received by His Majesty.

Ms Corin Robertson (Director General, Finance and Corporate, Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office) was present.

The King spoke to Mr Philip Davis MP (Prime Minister of the Commonwealth of the Bahamas) by telephone this evening.

The Queen, representing The King, this morning attended the Maundy Service in Worcester Cathedral and was received at the North Door by His Majesty's Lord-Lieutenant of Worcestershire (Mrs Beatrice Grant), the Lord High Almoner and Bishop of Worcester (the Right Reverend Dr John Inge) and the Reverend Canon Dr Stephen Edwards (Interim Dean).

During the Service Her Majesty, on behalf of His Majesty, distributed the Royal Maundy.

The Reverend Canon Paul Wright (Sub-Almoner) was present.

The King's Body Guard of the Yeoman of the Guard were on duty.
