The Queen this evening attended a Musical Evening in Salisbury Cathedral to celebrate the work of local charities and was received by His Majesty's Lord-Lieutenant of Wiltshire (Mrs Peter Troughton).

By command of The King, Mr Alistair Harrison (Marshal of the Diplomatic Corps) called upon His Excellency Mr Javier Esteban Figueroa at 49 Belgrave Square, London SW1, this morning in order to bid farewell to His Excellency upon relinquishing his appointment as Ambassador from the Argentine Republic to the Court of St James's.

The Queen this afternoon was installed as an Honorary Liveryman of the Worshipful Company of Fan Makers at a Ceremony at Clarence House and subsequently attended a Reception.
The Duchess of Gloucester, Liveryman, was present.

The Queen this morning visited Kindred Studios, 13 Market Lane, London W12, and was received by Mr Kevin McGrath (Deputy Lieutenant of Greater London).

Her Majesty this evening attended a Reception to celebrate William Shakespeare at Grosvenor House London Hotel, Park Lane, London W1, and was received by His Majesty's Lord-Lieutenant of Greater London (Sir Kenneth Olisa).

The Duke and Duchess of Gloucester were present.

Her Majesty, Patron, this afternoon held a Reception at Clarence House to celebrate the One Hundredth Anniversary of the Royal British Legion Poppy Factory.

Her Majesty later received Commander Andrew Pariser upon relinquishing his appointment as Commanding Officer of HMS ASTUTE and Commander Christopher Bate upon assuming the appointment.

The King held a Council at 4.30pm.
There were present: the Rt Hon Penelope Mordaunt MP (Lord President), the Rt Hon James Cleverly MP (Secretary of State for the Home Department), the Rt Hon Alister Jack MP (Secretary of State for Scotland) and the Rt Hon Gillian Keegan MP (Secretary of State for Education).

Mr Michael Tomlinson MP was sworn in as a member of His Majesty's Most Honourable Privy Council.

Mr Richard Tilbrook was in attendance as Clerk of the Council.

The Rt Hon Sir Clive Alderton (Principal Private Secretary to Their Majesties) was in attendance.

The Rt Hon Penelope Mordaunt MP had an audience of His Majesty before the Council.

Later, the Rt Hon Rishi Sunak MP (Prime Minister and First Lord of the Treasury) had an audience of The King.

The Queen, Colonel, Grenadier Guards, this afternoon, as Patron, held a Reception for the Colonel's Fund at Clarence House.

The King was represented by The Queen, accompanied by The Princess Royal and Vice Admiral Sir Tim Laurence, The Duke and Duchess of Gloucester, The Duke of Kent, Princess Alexandra, the Hon Lady Ogilvy and other Members of the Royal Family at the Service of Thanksgiving for the Life of King Constantine of the Hellenes which was held in St George's Chapel, Windsor Castle, this morning.

Camilla certainly has taken to the role of Queen Consort, she has had a smile from ear to ear doing the events lately.  She is a big help to Charles and seems to love meeting all the people.  I like seeing her out and about, working and taking care of the royal business.  Good for her and she is no young chick either.

His Excellency Mr Nourredine Yazid was received in audience by The King today and presented the Letters of Recall of his predecessor and his own Letters of Credence as Ambassador from the People's Democratic Republic of Algeria to the Court of St James's.

Mrs Yazid was also received by His Majesty.

His Excellency Mr Samba Mamadou Ba was received in audience by The King and presented the Letters of Recall of his predecessor and his own Letters of Credence as Ambassador from the Islamic Republic of Mauritania to the Court of St James's.

Sir Philip Barton (Permanent Under-Secretary of State for Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Affairs) was present.
