The Duke and Duchess of Gloucester this morning visited Sheffield Knives, J. Adams Limited, 124 Scotland Street, Sheffield, and were received by His Majesty's Lord-Lieutenant of South Yorkshire (Professor Dame Hilary Chapman).


Their Royal Highnesses this afternoon visited the Snowdrop Project, 7 Castle Street, Sheffield City Centre.

The Duke of Gloucester afterwards visited the Archer Project in Sheffield Cathedral.

The Duchess of Gloucester, Patron, Parkinson's UK, visited the Sheffield Institute for Translational Neuroscience at the University of Sheffield, 385A Glossop Road, Broomhall, Sheffield, and was received by Mr Anthony Pedder (Vice Lord-Lieutenant of South Yorkshire).

His Royal Highness, Patron, Cathedrals in Pilgrimage, and Her Royal Highness, Royal Patron, Cathedral Music Trust, later visited Sheffield Cathedral.

I saw some pictures of this event elsewhere, so very nice to see these young pre-adults getting this award, they looked thrilled with it, and the Duke was happy also, just doing his job as usual and he looked like a nice big grinning teddy bear, something like King Harald of Norway who happens to be a big favorite of mine.
