Princess Sibylla attended a reception for a "Feast of Joy and Peace" Olympic Games 1936 in Berlin by the Reich Government in the Straatsoper Unter den Linden.

Another Royal with right wing sympathies. She married Prince Gustav Adolf of Sweden, the father of the present King. Her father, Charles Edward, Duke of Saxe Coburg Gotha, was reputedly Hitler's favourite Royal. Sybilla and Gustav Adolf's wedding was made the excuse for a Nazi celebration and so George V forbade any of his family members to attend. (Charles Edward was the son of the haemophiliac Leopold Duke of Albany, Albert and Victoria's youngest son.)

Princess Sibylla's royal duties in Sweden began just a few days after her and Prince Gustaf Adolf, Duke of Vasterbotten's arrival to Stockholm in 1932. She presented the winner of a fencing tournament a prize with Princess Ingrid.
