The government, especially Prime Minister Xavier Bettel, wants to reform the monarchy without consulting the State Council, constitution and the Chamber of Deputies.
The CSV has accused the PM of disrespect towards the Grand-Duke as well as the consitution, labelling the proposals as unacceptable. Last week, deputies presented a plan to reform the monarchy in front of the Chamber. The government plans to carry out the reform by Grand Ducal decree, which has alientaed the CSV.

I love they bring Charles out with them to such events. We usually only see royal babies this age in official portraits and cermonies. Unless they get snapped in their private time by paps.
You can see how much having the little boy their delighted the seniors, most of whom likely have little grandkids of their own.

The selected tree is a linden (or lime-tree), a species that was particularly loved by the late Grand Duke Jean. The choice was a homage to the late Royal, who acted as Chief Scout for more than 80 years.

However, the Prime Minister was unable to reveal further details on when the refugees are expected to arrive, how many people will be able to receive shelter in Grand Ducal properties or even which properties have been selected to be opened to the refugees.
This comes as Luxembourg is said to be currently giving shelter to more than 4000 Ukrainians, all of them having arrived in the country over the past month.
The offer of private properties follows the example of other royal families that have opened some of their palaces to host Ukrainians fleeing from their war-torn country.
The Belgian Royal Palace was the first to make the announcement, in mid-March, that Their Majesties had agreed to open some apartments managed by the Royal Donation to house up to three families. The Royal Donation is the ?organisation that makes private property available to the Royal Family.?
The Royal House of the Netherlands soon followed, with King Willem-Alexander and Queen M?xima agreeing to open the doors of Het Oude Loo castle, near the town of Apeldoorn, a structure that can house a maximum of 30 people.

According to a report published on Friday by the newspaper 'd'L?tzebuerger Land', which has been confirmed by RTL, the case has been officially reported.
According to the report, Grand Duchess Maria Teresa and one of her employees had a verbal altercation. Upon enquiry, the Ministry of State confirmed this information.
The case is being handled by Jacques Flies, Secretary General of the Government Council and government representative on the Coordination Committee of the Maison du Grand-Duc. Flies has stated that what has occurred is "unacceptable" in his opinion.
For this reason, the employee who was mistreated was transferred to another position for her own protection.
According to d'L?tzebuerger Land, another employee requested a transfer, which was granted, but there is no further information concerning this incident. It is also unclear whether new staff will fill the vacant positions with the Grand Duke's wife.
Following the publication of the Waringo report, the Court was reorganised, and the Maison du Grand-Duc ("Grand Duke's House") was created. Since then, court employees benefit from the same protection as state employees.
Annual New Year's Reception for diplomats and the government has been held. A large number of the Grand Ducal Family were present at the event. Like in the UK and in Denmark, this is a gala event with evening gowns, white tie, uniforms, tiaras, orders and national dress.
