The Royal Gardens at High-grove in Tetbury, Gloucestershire, are to hold their first garden festival, on April 11–16. 'Highgrove: The Garden Celebrated', at The Prince of Wales's private residence, will reflect his enthusiasm for organic and sustainable gardening through talks by experts and tours of the grounds he has nurtured during the past 35 years.

Gardening luminaries include TV presenter and Country Life contributor Alan Titchmarsh, restaurateur Raymond Blanc, who has an organic kitchen garden, and Gardener's Question Time's Bob Flowerdew, Carol Klein, Chris Beardshaw, Jekka McVicar and David Domoney.

'It's an opportunity to share the expertise of some of the UK's most renowned horticulturists,' enthuses Highgrove Enterprise's Chris Pres-cott, 'as well as a beautiful spring plant fair inspired by the garden's innovative collections and a retail pavilion with handpicked exhibitors.'
