This reminds me so much of my dad, RIP. From days to weeks to after 1 month, doctors asked us, we can't do anything else, let him be home. It sounds morbid, but realistically PP's situation triggered #MyDad2015.  💕 for Daddy.

Up to Royals doctors decisions and kept eye on Duke of Edinburgh?s health news but cant release him at hospital till confirmed from palace

25 days! Just wonders if he even tried the turkey sandwich?!  No one likes hospital stays here is to a good book or a game. Speedy recovery.

Hurrah!  I sincerely hope that he had the first of many healing sleeps in his own environment.  I never sleep well in hospital! In our older years we do not heal as fast, but we do heal.

Wishing Prince Philip a comfortable recovery at home!
I second that.  I sincerely hope he is comfortable now and getting stronger every day.  I notice from those in my own family that healing comes slowly to the elderly, but it does come.  He may need a few months of recuperation.
