October 2. Prince Daniel honored police officers who died in performing their duties.

Today is Police Memorial Day in Sweden, which honors police officers who have died in performing their duties. Before the memorial day, Daniel participated in the Police Authority's memorial service in Kungsholm Church in Stockholm.

The Swedish Crown Princess Couple began their journey to Italy on Monday, 18 October, together with Anna Hallberg, Sweden?s Minister of Trade, and a sizeable Swedish business delegation.

This is the first official trip abroad by Crown Princess Victoria and Prince Daniel in over a year. Health and safety were still a priority, and the royals wore masks during parts of the visit. The first stop was at Italy?s Transport Administration before the couple saw an exhibition in Piazza San Silvestro, not far from the Trevi Fountain, focusing on Swedish values and Swedish commitment to gender equality.

The couple will also be visiting Turin during their visit.

There was a minor incident today when the CPss Couple were on a visit to Malmo. They were leaving a church when a man approached and tried to block their exit.

Communications manager at the Swedish royal court, Margareta Thorgren, said: ?When the visit to the church was over, the exit was blocked by one person. The security police took care of the situation. They asked the man to move, which he did. By the way, the day in Malm? was good and interesting?.

Crown Princess Victoria of Sweden has tested positive with COVID19 and is isolating with Prince Daniel and their children.
