QuotePrincess Alexandra visited the Shropshire Star this afternoon as part of its 50th birthday celebrations. She toured the newsroom in Telford as part of a busy day of engagements in the county.
Her Royal Highness met staff involved in all areas of the Star's production after being welcomed by Midland News Association chairman Douglas Graham.
Editor Martin Wright, who conducted the tour of the newsroom, said: "We are delighted the princess is able to join us at the Shropshire Star for what will be a highlight of our very special year."
