I'm pleased that KCIII and the PoW (still trying to get used to the new initials for both) were there to speak with the representatives of the emergency services. The emergency services personnel have been active around the clock from the moment that they heard "London Bridge is down."

Blue Clover

Tomorrow will be a challenging day for all of England. KCIII is getting ahead of the demands placed on the BRF.

I don't see what the demands are to be honest. By the events so far, the firm, from the Royals to the machinery behind them were prepared from Unicorn (if in Balmoral) to London Bridge, plus the added 'fact' because it's factual so far due to the what you see is what you get tied to ''planned'' cc's, Charles already had in place what HE wants to do.  His workaholic is like super confirmed! The what to do list when I'm King.

The mix of doing their Unicorn/London Bridge and New King's business is transparent, media allowed to record, if not then 1 media to distribute to all media (the audiences and 'inside' BP meetings, lunches, leaders of faith meetings)

Royals are human, and grief is a process. Being present for many public events throughout grieving and the shock of losing a beloved mother/family member qualifies as a demand in my book.

There hasn't been a gathering like this for decades.

I'm sure some world leaders will find the idea of arriving by bus a novelty.

But the police is already facing their biggest operation in the force's history - they don't need the hassle of policing 200 separate motorcades.

At least Biden had the decency to accept a view from a balcony above the scene at Westminster Hall, and not go near to the coffin, thus disrupting the queue.

Others weren?t so respectful it seems. The President of Armenia for one apparently wouldn?t stop talking to aides even though the crowds have been silent. Then apparently he insisted on a photo of himself being taken by one of his entourage at the scene. Where do these people learn their protocol!

We?ve also got other strongmen, oligarchs as well, wanting their moment in the sun, and I suppose the Crown Prince of Saudi Arabia will be attending the event tonight and the funeral tomorrow.

wannable

Reuters is waiting at BP garden for Biden arriving in Heli. The beast (US President's armoured car in the UK) is already waiting.

Correction: He arrived with his entourage using the beast, backdoor, large entourage.

If he has balcony view and the others don't, it seems to me that he got special treatment. Like in this evening's reception (I've been watching reuters 1. buses 2. vans - the ones in vans looked middle eastern with their styling of black formal morning wear 3. Biden).  I DON'T mind, basically if the USA crumbles, domino effect rest of the world. His entourage from aides to security is estimated at 300 people.

Curryong

At the moment the VIP arrivals from the buses look a bit lost, to be honest. I?m sure they were guided as to where to go once they were inside, but there?s been quite a bit of just looking around followed by going up some stairs, including someone who had a walking frame and clomped it up the stairs one by one. Couldn?t he have been directed to a lift? I saw Felipe there taking a look around at the surroundings beforehand.

wannable

Some of them IMO were looking at the 'structure', first time ever in BP. Usually it is their diplomat ambassador and plus1 that have been there done that (Christmas Diplomatic reception with tiaras and white tie) A posting lasts from 3 to 5 years and then moved to another country. Once an ambassador reaches the 'pinacle' of being posted in London, hard to top that. It would need to be Geneva or Paris before retirement.  (My brother is married to a daugher of an ambassador dad, they work their countries/career UP. We are a big family of 6; 3 brothers 3 sisters. I'm the spinster :))

How to get 1000 people at least before 7:00 p.m.?!!!

8:00 p.m. there's going to be a minute of silence, will there be an aerial picture of all of them? out in the garden or something?
