QuoteStill Like Newly-Weds! As they approach their third anniversary, new parents Kate and William show they are still very much in love on their tour Down Under  (Videos)

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have proved their relationship is still very much in the honeymoon period during their tour of New Zealand and Australia.

As they prepare to celebrate their third wedding anniversary on Tuesday, the bond between the royal pair seems stronger than ever.

While some couples find their relationship can be strained by having a baby, the arrival of Prince George seems to have brought Kate and Prince William even closer.

Throughout their tour Down Under, the university sweethearts have been tactile and playful with one another as they have frequently been pictured sharing a joke and looking at one another with love.

William and Kate's royal tour is a 'political home movie' that avoids the real Australia ? video | World news | theguardian.com

QuoteThe Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have spent the day in Uluru, taking in the sights and sounds of the Northern Territory, Australia. David Marr takes a step back from the endless parade of photo calls, security cordons and flower presentations to talk about this royal tour – or is it a political home movie?

A short but thoughtful and interesting retrospective video (2 minutes) on William and Kate's tour.

Apologies if this has already been posted.

Interesting perspective of Rob Jobson, the Tour was bigger than Charles' and Diana's because there were 600 accredited media members yet on the Charles and Diana Tour the crowds were massively bigger... So, his perspective comes from where he was standing as a reporter...

"You don't have to be pretty. You don't owe prettiness to anyone. Not to your boyfriend/spouse/partner, not to your co-workers, especially not to random men on the street. You don't owe it to your mother, you don't owe it to your children, you don't owe it to civilization in general. Prettiness is not a rent you pay for occupying a space marked 'female'." Diana Vreeland.

Sort of like saying the crowds at the Queen's coronation were larger than they will be at Charles. Pretty self-evident I'd say.

Some added perspective, when Charles and Diana were in Australia the country had a republican PM who promised a republic by '88 and here we are, 30 years later and Australia has a Monarchist PM and support for a republic is at its lowest in a generation.

Yes, PrincessOfPeacd, especially with the younger generation.

The bottom line is the crowds of people didn't even come close to Charles and Diana only the crowd of photographers...

Do we know how many photographers were in the crowd for Charles and Diana (considering she was the most photographed woman in history)?  Seriously, though, this isn't a competition.

Personally, I didn't take it as such. He said there were many more on this Tour but it was the eighties and the beginning, I don't think there could have been too many, just a guess. That title took a few years to come about about though.
