Queen Elizabeth II turned 88 on Tuesday. Also the national day of the UK, the occasion was marked at the gardens of British Embassies in the UAE, with events held on the evenings of Tuesday and Wednesday.

At both events, guests were entertained by a marching display and live music by the British Military Band, The Salamanca Band and Bugles of The Rifles, and enjoyed quintessentially British food and drink.
