Amsterdam, Holland - Hare Koninklijke Hoogheid Prinses M?xima der Nederlanden bezoekt maandag 18 oktober 2004 de Jeugd- en atletiekvereniging Continental Sport in Amsterdam Zuidoost. Het project ontving in mei 2004 uit handen van de Prinses een Appeltje van Oranje, de prijs van het Oranje Fonds voor initiatieven op het terrein van maatschappelijk welzijn en sociale cohesie. Amsterdam, Holland - Her Royal Highness Princess M?xima of the Netherlands visited the Youth- and athletics club Continental Sport in Amsterdam Southeast on monday October 18th 2004. The project [the founding of this club] received out of the hands of the princess the ''Appeltje van Oranje'' [little orange apple], the price of the Orange Fund for initiatives on the subject of social welfare and social cohesion. The price contains an amount of ?15,000. The princess is the Patroness of the Orange fund.

small note: this club is meant for ''less lucky'' kids -> kids, usually immigrant kids, who can't afford a regular sportsclub.

M?xima has taken place in the State Council. Sounds like a big deal: isn't. She can sit and listen, but not intervene. Quite useless actually, but the idea is, that she's aware of the problems the country (that she will reign one day) is facing , since those problems are being discussed there.
