King and Queen of Belgium in Paphos for holiday

The couple arrived in Cyprus yesterday on a Belgian Air Force Emprair 150 and are spending the week in a luxury hotel near the Akamas according to local media.

They were welcomed at the airport by the country's ambassador to Cyprus and diplomatic representatives of Belgium.

During their holiday the couple is expected to visit local archaeological sites and enjoy the natural beauty of the countryside as well as attend official contacts and a few ceremonial events.
