Her Royal Highness this afternoon opened Royal British Legion Industries Centenary Village, Greenwich House, Richard Corben Way, Aylesford, Kent.

The Princess Royal, Patron, the Butler Trust, later visited HM Prison Elmley, Church Road, Eastchurch, Kent.

I agree @Nightowl. You can't be an Olympic level equestrian without a healthy dose of self- discipline and mental/physical toughness.

That is one of the reasons I like Princess Anne, I think she would of been a magnificent queen if things had been different.   I  look for strong intelligent women in history to read about and learn from.  I see that her daughter Zara has the same confidence and attitudes about life, would love for all that to be taught to the girls in the family.  We certainly need zillions of strong emotionally, mentally and physically women in this world we live in today.
