It's half term break for St. Thomas Battersea and the Cambridge family along with Nanny Maria were spotted at Heathrow on Thursday afternoon.

Prince William and Kate Middleton are spotted outside Heathrow Airport with their children | Daily Mail Online

QuotePrince William appeared to put his grandmother's health scare behind him and carried on as normal this week as he was spotted outside the Windsor Suite at Heathrow airport along with his wife the Duchess of Cambridge and their three children.

William and  Kate, both 39, appeared to travel from the airport with Prince George, eight, Princess Charlotte, six, and Prince Louis, three, from  their Kensington Palace home in London.

The royals were driven to the airport by Prince William in a blacked out Audi closely escorted by security and a nanny.

The exclusive lounge is located inside Heathrow's Terminal 5 and is reserved for the Royal Family and other high profile celebrities - with one three hour stay costing ?3,300. It's not clear where the family where travelling.

Backpacks, Tote bags, airline regulation ''hand carry'', seems like they'll be spending a nice longish weekend at some sunny side.

From what I can remember the Cambridges are doing the same thing that Charles and Diana did when their sons were young. They flew together as a family until William's 12th birthday. With air travel being much safer than it was after QEII ascended to the throne, the greatest risk in royal travel is when they travel by car.

To mark Remembrance and Royal British Legion's centenary, The Duchess met 10 year old Cub Scout Emily and 98 year old veteran Colonel Blum to discuss the vital importance of Remembrance across generations.

"It was a true honour to spend time with Colonel Blum and be able to thank him for the sacrifices he made for our country. Speaking to him highlighted again to me why Remembrance is so important, and why we must pay our gratitude to those who have fought and died so we could live in peace today.  We must keep their stories alive for generations to come, including young people such as Emily. I must admit that I keep seeing "Colonel Plum" in my mind when I read that portion of your post @PrincessOfPeace.

Thank you for sharing the video. Have to say that I was very impressed with the poppy display that Emily's Scout Troop created at the church. Lovely to hear from one of the WWII veterans as there are fewer of them each year.
