Prince Harry digs into his own pockets for the #FillTheSeats Campaign

Prince Harry has made a personal donation to the #FillTheSeats campaign to support the effort to allow children in Rio the opportunity to see Invictus and Paralympic competitors in action.

The crowdfunding #FillTheSeats campaign began on Tuesday, 23rd August and was organised by Londoner Greg Nugent. Following poor ticket sales for the 2016 Paralympic Games, the 42-year-old former marketing director for the London 2012 Games started the campaign to ensure athletes competing in Rio are supported by packed venues of sports fans.

With the backing of both the International Paralympic Committee and the Rio 2016 Organising Committee, the campaign has seen fantastic support and exceeded its fundraising target within two days of its launch.
