A Message about Forum Safety from the admins.

Even though most of you probably already are aware of this kind of stuff we thought it was important to bring this up. Please don't give out any personal information to anyone. This includes your last name, phone number or email address. There are too many weirdos out there and we really don't want anyone here to be misled by anyone. There have been incidents in the past on other forums of people claiming to be record producers or model agents looking for young girls to work with. If these people even get one small piece of your personal info they are able to possibly figure out all types of things about you from your home phone to your address. On several sites (listed below) you will see the dangers of trusting people that you don't know online. The bottom line is no matter what anyone promises you do NOT give out any kind of personal info to anyone! If you are contacted by anyone like this please PM a mod or an admin as soon as possible and send a copy of the PM you got from them.

Also, we think it's important to note that being that this is a royalty forum we are bound to get people here that claim to know one of the royals personally. We don't want to make a judgment call on whether or not these people are telling the truth but please use your best judgment about these situations and don't give out personal information to anyone under the guise of them contacting William and Harry for you. It is WAY too dangerous so please don't do this. The odds that anyone can get you in contact with one of them are slim to none so please use your best judgment with these situations.  

There was a story not too long ago here in the US about someone in a chatroom claiming to know Justin Timberlake. This person talked back and forth with this 14 year old girl for several months. Over the course of those months, because she was so excited that he promised to introduce her to Justin, she gave him her email and home phone number. Eventually she agreed to meet him so that he could introduce her to Justin and he ended up sexually assaulting her. While this is an extreme case of what can happen it's important to realize that bad things can happen. Don't let your guard down because someone promises you things.

Along these same lines we do not want to censor anyone's right to say what they want (as long as it's within the rules). If someone really does see know one of the royals or talks to them just be respectful about what you post about them, please. (Refrain from giving out personal information or relaying personal conversations.). Don't personally attack anyone that claims to know them or see them. If you have a different opinion, it's fine to post it just do so in a respectful way. If anyone is contacted by someone on this forum claiming to be one of the royals or says they will contact them for you it's strongly recommended that you contact a mod or an admin. DO NOT BELIEVE THIS AND DO NOT GIVE THEM ANY PERSONAL INFO!!
