Here is a staircase in Buckingham House in 1819. I am wondering if this staircase was kept when Buckingham House was reconstructed as Buckingham Palace.

Summer House.......... :eyes:  :o........that is what is called a summer house.....good grief, how over the top some egos must of been during that time period.  Yet during that time period in history there were lots of over the top buildings that we still have today.....in fact I do not think anyone in the entire world today could build any one of these palaces or castles like they did way back then.  Our technology today just could not do it I honestly believe. Yet nothing today beat the Pyramids of Ancient Egypt for they are still standing after thousands of years.
