They?ve certainly been a busy and happy couple with three little boys to their credit. Happy anniversary to them!  . I have a soft spot for Sofia ever since her work in the hospital wards during the Covid crisis.

Lovely family photos to celebrate Victoria's birthday. BTW Estelle is wearing one of her mother's old dresses. Queen Silvia saved many of her daughters' dresses and now her granddaughters can wear them . :bday10:

I had to stop for a moment and recall that with Prince Phillip's passing this past April, there are currently no living male consorts remaining. Prince Phillip was predeceased by his peers: the NL's Prince Claus and Denmark's Prince Henrik.


Another significant event that took place on Sept. 15, 1973 was the ascension of his father-in-law, King Carl Gustaf.

Svenskdam reported that Princess Madeleine & her family have planned a big party weekend for her 40th Birthday on June 10th and 11th at Drottningholm castle. Both a family dinner and a big friends party are planned.
