While I am pleased that modern technology will be assisting HM with her duties: PM meetings, recorded speeches and virtual engagements, I do believe that we'll see her family members stepping in more frequently with Investitures as they do require standing for a long period of time. Currently there are four BRF members who conduct investitures: QEII, PoW, DoCam and PR.  Once Charles' reign begins, he might have his younger brother Edward step up to handle investitures too if he wants three others on the "I team."

Mr David Constantine was received by The Queen today via video link when Her Majesty presented him with The Queen's Gold Medal for Poetry.

The Poet Laureate (Professor Simon Armitage) was present.

The Queen was represented by Colonel Toby Browne (Crown Equerry) at the Service of Thanksgiving for the Life of Major Lord Patrick Beresford which was held at the Guards Chapel, Wellington Barracks, London SW1, today.

The Queen held a Council via video link at 4.30pm.

There were present: the Rt Hon Jacob Rees-Mogg MP (Lord President), the Rt Hon Dr Therese Coffey MP (Secretary of State for Work and Pensions), the Rt Hon Alister Jack MP (Secretary of State for Scotland) and the Rt Hon Nadhim Zahawi MP (Secretary of State for Education).

The Rt Hon Michelle Donelan MP, the Lord Frost, the Rt Hon Dame Siobhan Keegan, the Rt Hon Sir Paul Maguire, the Rt Hon Christopher Malthouse MP and the Rt Hon Nicklaus Thomas-Symonds MP were sworn in as members of Her Majesty's Most Honourable Privy Council.

Mrs Ceri King was in attendance as Deputy Clerk of the Council.

By command of Her Majesty, Mr Alistair Harrison (Marshal of the Diplomatic Corps) called upon His Excellency Mr Narkhuu Tulga at 7-8 Kensington Court, London W8, this morning in order to bid farewell to His Excellency upon relinquishing his appointment as Ambassador from Mongolia to the Court of St James's.

By command of The Queen, the Marshal of the Diplomatic Corps called upon His Excellency Lieutenant General Paul Mihova at 2 Palace Gate, London W8, this afternoon in order to bid farewell to His Excellency upon relinquishing his appointment as High Commissioner for the Republic of Zambia in London.

A wreath was laid on behalf of The Queen this morning by The Prince of Wales during the Ceremony at the Cenotaph on the occasion of Remembrance Day.

Wreaths were also laid by The Prince of Wales, The Duke of Cambridge, The Earl of Wessex and The Princess Royal.

A wreath was laid on behalf of The Duke of Kent by Captain James Calder-Smith.

The Duchess of Cornwall, The Duchess of Cambridge, The Countess of Wessex, The Duke and Duchess of Gloucester, The Duke of Kent, Princess Alexandra, the Hon Lady Ogilvy and Vice Admiral Sir Tim Laurence were present during the Ceremony.

The Duke of Cambridge afterwards took the salute at the March Past of Ex-Servicemen and Civilian Organisations on Horse Guards Parade, London SW1.

The Queen, Colonel-in-Chief, The Royal Scots Dragoon Guards (Carabiniers and Greys), today received Lieutenant Colonel Fraser McLemen via video link upon relinquishing his appointment as Commanding Officer and Lieutenant Colonel Graeme Craig upon assuming the appointment, and Brigadier David Allfrey upon relinquishing his appointment as Colonel and Brigadier Benjamin Edwards upon assuming the appointment.

The Queen has undertaken another in person audience today with the Governor of the Bank of England,  Andrew Bailey, in the Oak Room at Windsor Castle. The monarch is still undertaking light duties while recovering from a back sprain.
