Vanuatu is one of those island nations that is being overcome by rising sea levels - very tiny place - nice morale builder for the people there to have her visit -

Prince Edward the Earl of Wessex appeared to make an awkward arrival at a Sydney fundraiser on Monday.

The 50-year-old was spotted visiting The Royal Prince Edward Yacht Club at Point Piper, slightly struggling to step out of a boat as security guards looked on.

Wearing a crisp charcoal coloured suit, the third son of Queen Elizabeth II was seen using his arms to support himself as he stepped onto the jetty.

Teaming his grey blazer and matching trousers with a white shirt, the royal went on to finish off his look with a light patterned tie.

Prince Edward is in Australia for a whirlwind five-day trip dedicated to celebrating more than 50 years of The Duke Of Edinburgh International Award first launched by his father Prince Phillip in 1956.

The DM made it sound very awkward when he arrived, but the video shows it was easy IMO.

^^ I agree ... I was expecting him to fall, or at least trip.  But it looked like a good "landing" to me.

Australia seems to be a popular royal tour destination within the BRF. Will Anne and Edward be performing any engagements together? It would be nice to see them do so.
