?The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are delighted to share new photographs of their family with Sir David Attenborough, taken after The Duke and Sir David attended an outdoor screening of Sir David?s upcoming feature film.?

Sir David gave George a sharks tooth.  And Charlotte looks thrilled at Sir David?s appearance.  Such cute kids

Sir David Attenborough has attended a private viewing of his new documentary at Kensington Palace, hosted by the Duke of Cambridge.

During his visit, the naturalist gave Prince George a fossilised giant tooth from an extinct shark. The young prince looked captivated as he handled the tooth of a carcharocles megalodon, a shark that was once a sea predator.

Sir David and Prince William both campaign on environmental issues.

Charlotte and Louis are both getting very tall!  George was sitting down, so it's hard to tell if he did a lot of growing this summer as well.

What an incredible experience for the Cambridge kids to meet Sir David in their own backyard!

Sir David has had the tooth since the 1960s. I think its his to give.

Malta informs Prince George that he can keep the shark tooth.

Keep shark tooth, Malta tells Britain's Prince George | Reuters

QuoteVALLETTA (Reuters) - Malta, making a rapid U-turn, said on Tuesday Britain?s Prince George was welcome to keep a fossilised shark tooth that was given to him by veteran naturalist Sir David Attenborough.

The 23-million-year-old fossil was discovered by Attenborough in Malta when he was holidaying on the Mediterranean island in the 1960s.

He gave it to George, 7, at the weekend, raising the hackles of some Maltese, who thought the tooth should be returned to them. Culture Minister Jose Herrera said on Monday he would ?set the ball rolling? in retreiving the tooth, but the plan rapidly ran aground.

?It is not (our) intention to pursue this matter any further,? a ministry spokesman said, without giving any explanation for the abrupt change of heart.

Herrera?s move on Monday had raised some negative comments on social media, with critics pointing out that fossilised teeth of megalodon sharks can be bought for less than 50 euros.

I know life is difficult at presnet but is this the best they can do for a story?  People making a fuss about a fossilised tooth?

Curryong

People, especially reporters, make fusses about a great many petty and stupid things.

wannable

This time it's a case of people rather than reporters.  The Malta Ministry made a fuzz and a higher ranking officer now is U Turning the situation.

yes but it seems it is the Maltese minister/govt that was making the fuss.. and with news being short, of course the press are going to bring out the story.

Yes, and it does appear that they were impressed with the opportunity.  I myself was also very impressed with Sir. Attenborough - for a man of his age he is amazingly spry and engaged.  It's good for folks to see that.

FACT is Will married well. Right. Perfect for his wife, life partner, cohort , consort. ?etc.
When they were just dating, he tested her over and again.
When the became more than just dating, she had times to see if she could handle that other part of him and , truth be told, that other part of him is a lot for him too.

Catherine was the one fir him. Lucky him. Lucky them.
Best luck to them
