Build affordable homes in villages to beat housing crisis, says Princess Anne

Princess Anne has entered the debate over Britain's rural housing crisis by calling for new affordable homes to be added to the nation's existing villages.

Rather than build huge new developments on otherwise untouched countryside, villages should be enlarged to bear the brunt of the 240,000 homes that are needed, she said.
