What is the purpose of the new "current activity" bar on poster's accounts?

Is it activity by log-in time? Number of posts?

I just saw it and I can't figure out its point.

Thank you!

Windsor

It shows your activity on a montly basis, let us say the Top Activity per month is 100 posts and you have only so far posted 50 times, then your current activity for this month will be 50%. I hope that makes sense, it is rather late over here, and well I tend not to make sense at these hours. :P

Right now, we have the monthly activity level set to 300 posts = 100%  -- I took a look at the 10 members who have spent the most time on the forum, and they averaged out just over 9 posts per day, so that's how we came up with the number. Its just a fun tool to encourage members to post ;)

That'll push us to try and reach 100%! :hehe:
