**It's the time of the year for new or extended (2 more years) for ambassadors representing their country in the UK. I believe this is the first ambassador to be live in Windsor Castle, the CC have ambassadors via video conference. The PM Australia was at the G7, but it may be the time now to receive people there in lieu of BP (repairs).

Queen news: Queen facing Republican rebellion in Commonwealth nation Australia | Royal | News | Express.co.uk

Scott Morrison likes the Queen and gets on well with her. There won?t be any serious moves towards a republic here while she lives and the Republican leaders know it. Too many other things on our minds. However, once Elizabeth goes all bets are off, and most Aussies know that too.

Meeting again in person for the first time in fifteen months. Both have had significant milestones in their personal lives. QEII was widowed but has welcomed her 9th, 10th and 11th great-grandchildren. Soon it will be an even dozen! Johnson has battled COVID 19, welcomed another child and married again.

Yes, it?s been a memorable year for both of them, dominated for the Queen of course by the loss of her husband of nearly 74 years. However how many times does a PM marry while in office, let alone have a baby! Blair had an addition to the family while in office and before that I think it was John Russell in the 1840s. And as for monarchs? great grandchildren, four in one year hasn?t happened since Queen Victoria!
