All Saints would be fine if all the people going to the wedding were families and bridal party. It barely holds 200 people and then there would be a squash. And why would Royal Lodge be any more secure than Windsor Castle? There's far more security on the ground there than at Royal Lodge or anywhere else bar the other Palaces.

I still think they will plump for St Georges and a party later at Royal Lodge. Maybe a gathering in Italy later. Much more convenient for Bea's grandparents at St George's than anywhere else though I still feel that Philip is frailer than anyone outside the family knows.

And IMO a London venue may be out due to expense, unless Edo's prepared to dig deep. There has to be protection for other guests besides the royals; celebs, models, aristos, actors, socialites etc also have to be guaranteed safety.

I think Beatrice will have the wedding she wants. As nonworking royals I think she is freer than her cousins and now with Andrew no longer working having stepped down from his duties there won't be the demands he put on for Eugenie's wedding having it televised and the carriage possession. Beatrice is marrying her way her fiance already has a child something that has never happened and from new reports she is having an engagement party something not done before.

I can't see how a celebrity wedding would look good.  She needs to have a very quiet private wedding, family and close friends...

@amabel a celebrity wedding may not look good but again you have to take her lifestyle and associations into consideration. Beatrice was brought up in the spotlight and many friends are celebrities and socialites. I highly doubt she will have a small private wedding along the lines of say Pippa Middleton but more like Autumn and Peter Philips.

It doesn't matter if Beatrice or Eugenie is popular neither Princess is a working royal however as with any member of the royal family security costs for such events relate to The Queen and the other working royals Beatrice cannot help being born the granddaughter or niece of or cousin off. Besides she is used to bad press look at how many vacations she takes a year. It certainly doesn't bother her or she would have ended such excursions by reducing vacations to maybe two a year like normal people.

Prince Andrew will give his daughter away (in a semi private wedding probably at St George's Windsor) so there will be no need for Edo's father to do anything. Other than be there as a main guest of course.

I highly doubt that would occur. If anything Beatrice might have another male relative (Uncle, Brother-in-law, Cousin) do so if Andrew was not available for some reason. Or she could choose to walk with Sarah or alone.

It would be quite ridiculous.  the point about "giving away" is to emphasise that the Bride and groom are from 2 families, ad now they are joining up to make one family.. so the bride is escorted by a member of her own family...or if she has no relatives who can do it.. it is usualy a friend...

well since Eugenei and Bea have never been much liked any slight improvement IS a gain in popularity.  I think that Eugenie is seen now as settled down married and doing some charity work.. and she has nt been a job flitter like Betrice.. but unfortunately the Andrew scandal will bring back negative feelings about the 2 younger Yorks

Lets hope so.  Best thing would be fro them to marry privately and then make an announcement in the press and just maybe release a couple of pictures.. no TV, no slew of pics in magazines..

I don't think it's going to be that quiet, the article says the Queen gave the couple permission to start planning wedding for the month of June, it shouldn't be during Ascot, they can start disclosing by January.
