QuoteHundreds of soldiers in the Royal Anglian Regiment paraded at the Imperial War Museum in Duxford yesterday as part of their Regiment's Golden Jubilee.
As part of the day's celebrations, soldiers took part in an Act of Remembrance at the Regimental Memorial, a Beating Retreat and a parade with massed bands, along with the release of the new Regimental history, 'Aden to Afghanistan'. Following tradition, all three of the Regiment's battalions were also presented with sets of new colours from their Colonel-in-Chief, His Royal Highness The Duke of Gloucester.
Her Majesty's Lord-Lieutenant for Cambridgeshire, Mr Hugh Duberly, along with Ministers, MPs, MEPs and those who support the Regimental Benevolent Fund were all present at the parade and reception.
