It is unfortunate that almost two billion people in the world don't have access to banks, savings accounts  and other financial resources. I think part of the reason is due to the fact that the governments in some of the third world countries don't do much  to help supply their people with financial resources they need to succeed. Helping to ensure that the people of a country have their essential needs is very important. I am glad Queen Maxima travels to the World Economic Forum each year to highlight this issue. She is our Queen of Finance! She offers solutions of how economies in other countries can growth and improve the social development & fulfillment of people. With the growing technology it is important for people to know how to do financial work on their tablets, smartphones & other devices.

QuoteHer Majesty Queen Máxima of the Netherlands is due to give the opening address at the G20 conference in Wiesbaden, Germany, on 25 January. The theme of the conference is "Digitising finance, financial inclusion and financial literacy." The Deutsche Bundesbank and the Federal Ministry of Finance organised the conference. Germany is the current chairman of the G20.

Her Majesty has been the United Nations Secretary-General's Special Advocate for Inclusive Finance for Development since 2009. She is also the honorary president of the global partnership for inclusive finance "Global Partnership for Financial Inclusion (GPFI) of the G20."

Queen Máxima will speak about how "technology and digital applications can be deployed in order to let more people use in a safe and responsible manner making financial services," according to the Royal House of the Netherlands in a press release.

^^^Agreed and there is undoubtedly some concern about those governments that have a reputation for corruption. Even in the U.S. we have immigrants who are still very distrustful of banks and choose to keep their savings hidden at home. Unfortunately this leaves them open to burglary and home invasion robberies by criminals who know that they keep cash and valuables on the property.
