I never warmed to her. Her look is okay. Not a beauty, but attractive.

I do like Letizia, she and Felipe make a good couple. However, like most of the new generation of Crown Princesses, she tries to fit in very hard and judging by her mannerism, Letizia hasn't found her place yet and doesn't feel very comfortable. But the same can be said about Mary of Denmark and quite a few other Princesses. In fact, I believe that only the Dutch Princesses (Maxima, Laurentien and Mabel) have found their places perfectly (that is to say, they are not perfect Princesses but have adapts to their respective positions almost perfectly, Maxima with her ever-present smile, Laurentien with her ever-shocking outfits and Mabel, with her complete disregard of any controversies that may surround her and going on as usual attitude). As for the rest of them, they have many years to adapt and master the 'role' perfectly.

She looks like she has gained weight and at least looks like she did at the time of her engagement. And I think her lack of warmth has a lot to do with the fact that she has had a hard time fitting in to the SRF. She shows the discomfort of someone who is judged harshly and is simply unwanted by Felipe's father and his sisters.

From last week at the Spanish Senate for Rare Diseases (solo appearance)...she's been eating more or she just feels better.
