The  Million Room in Schonbrunn Palace took its name from its cost, high in 1765, of one million gulden, which was mainly represented by the valuable rosewood floor for which materials had been imported from the Antilles.

The Walnut Room of Schonbrunn Palace is named for the wood used to line the walls and to make the furniture.   
It was used as an audience chamber by Joseph II and later by Franz Joseph.
