The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge and Prince Harry will attend the Commonwealth Games in Glasgow on July 28 and 29, Buckingham Palace says.

That's big of them!  They can spare 2 days for this...but not 2 hours for their charities.....

It  is very important and worthwhile.  Those  teams and  all  involved  think it is important and  it is for them :thanks:.
The D D of Cam will cheer them on and  smile. Take some pictures. Try their  hand  at  the sport.  Shake hands .Make some quips. Haha!! Usualy one "  The Duchess won as she and the Duke are quite a sporty  pair and competitive. Etc."
The Duke  will say, "Well she  is  prettier than I am so they  gave  her,I believe  an advantage...etc."

But......

Sports AGAIN!!!! :wellduh: Easy event AGAIN. Nothing Earth shattering  AGAIN!!!

:goodpost:
I  give myself a  Good Post,  :teehee:

The return of the "three Amigos" oh happy days ...

:nod:Ole!!!

FanDianaFancy

Ohhhhhhhhh,  I did not know if was the wholesome threesome.  Okaaaaaayyyyyy!!!  Too funny.

SophieChloe

It's a joke.  People are paying good hard earned money to attend the games.  And for W,K & H -  it's an "engagement"?  Please.... :Lothwen:

Why are you bringing her into it?   However, she works all year round

SophieChloe

Shamefully so.  However, it is nothing more than couple of days of fun for W,K,&H.

If you are happy with that, then great guns.....I'm not.

About what?  Being fun?  Why else would they give up 2 days, unless it was for fun?

They are usually in and out like the wind....unless Fun is involved.

I don't think there is anything fun about hospices,  cancer wards, homelessness, injured soldiers, etc. I doubt Kate or Will or Harry do, either. Fun  isn't the agenda.

Kate, Will, and Harry do a lot of work that has nothing to do with fun.

SophieChloe

It is nothing more than fun for the three of them.

When was the last time any of them visited

When?   Secret squirrel work?

Surely if the pair of them were doing any good for the less fortunate, we'd know about it.  However, two days of fun it is.

Being nasty about them does not change the fact that they have been doing meaningful work.

I'm not being "nasty" I'm telling it how I see it.  What "meaningful" work?

"Secret squirrel work" is nasty, as I see it. It's certainly neither accurate nor polite.

same can be said about others you so happily bash on their work ethic. I agree with Sophie  this is just another vacation with 10min photo up! I wonder if they reserved another 5star hotel for their distress reliever!! :wellduh:

That's the best you have.   OK.  I'll leave it here and now.

No actually, I won't.  Where is your response to the "meaningful work" statement?  :
