This is such sad news, and just before Christmas too. My heart goes out to this couple. The loss of a baby is always dreadful. I hope Zara recovers soon.

Despite the tragedy that happened last month, both Zara and Mike are staying strong and continuing to live their lives to the fullest. Maybe Zara will get pregnant again sometime this year and successfully give birth to a baby. I hope this will be a year of happiness for them.

I agree!! I've said before just how ridiculous it looked, and likely had to be causing breathing problems, even if he wasnt concerned about its looks. I know Zara is a ways down the succession line, and has more leeway and a certain casualness, but having a husband who looks like a henchman out of a 60s episode of Batman is a bit much. Or, alternatively you could put the striped outfit and mask on him and hed look like one of the guys who used to try and break into Scrooge McDuck's vault :lol:

Yes, you'd be going 'Ouch' for some time after delivering a baby that size naturally. My eldest was smaller but I had two who were nine pounds four at birth and there was no way, with my peculiar shaped pelvis, I could have have given birth naturally to either. Poor Zara, glad to see Mike was in attendance though.
Nine pounds 4 ounces are definitely bouncing babies! Thank goodness we were giving birth in the later part of the 20th century and with modern OB care.
Hope that the mother and child are doing well today. I'm sure that there is a pony in this baby's future.

We wait for a name, which will probably be tweeted by Mike in the next couple of days. It could be something short to snappy, to go with Mia, like Ava or Ella. Mia was in the top ten of birth names at the time of her birth so it may well be the same here.
I agree that a short and snappy name seems to fit the Tindalls. It's Mike not Michael, Zara, Mia and the newest one should have one that fits the family. I don't see Clementine or Eleanor in the future but I Ella or Ava might be nice. :)

Anne is very fond of Harry and always seems to enjoy a chat with him and Meghan. I don't care what outfit Meghan had on. In those last weeks of pregnancy you feel like an elephant anyway whatever you wear, and good on her for turning up!
Meghan's coat has been identified as a vintage 1950's swing coat. (Good choice as its wider shape would fit her now.) If it is never seen again, then IMO this is a perfect example of one of the PoW's daughters-in-law making use of a loan. I feel the same way about Catherine's McQueen coat for the Irish Guards event.

I hadn't realized they had been going there for so long! Obviously they love it and it is their choice. Take it from me with a child halfway around the world - it would be hard on Anne and Peter.
That is why IMO half/half, they have money to have several properties around the world, plus you are right, Princess Anne and her children are very close and vice versa Peter and Zara and their respective families too. It's lovely to see them weekend after weekend with the equestrian calendar and fairs both families and grandmother Anne interacting.

They could throw Wolfie in to even out numbers. But I am sure by the time our youngest three are big enough to join the rugby game, Beatrice will likely have added to the bunch.
The situation has certainly changed since Anne?s brood of granddaughters made the number of females almost unassailable. This past year has indeed seen the male great-grandchildren catching up in a big way. I was almost certain that Baby Sussex was going to be another son, but do hope that Bea has a boy or two. I just like to see a good balance between the genders. (I?m a grandma with three granddaughters and one grandson and had two daughters and a son myself so our family was always a bit female-centric until they all started marrying.)

I was certain that I'd noticed some sparkle on Savannah's, Isla's and Mia's dresses/coats from the Committal Service at SGC. I expect that each of her great-granddaughters have received small brooches from HM's collection. Lena, Lilibet and Sienna were too young to attend any of the services, but I am glad to know that possibly each has received a small treasure from the late Queen. I wonder what the great-grandsons might have received? Perhaps a pair of cuff links from the DoE's wardrobe?

The Princess Royal and her former husband Mark Phillips didn't want titles for their children and raised them to have their own careers. Their maternal grandparents just happened to be the monarch/consort. They only represented their nation via their sporting careers.
The York Princesses and the Wessex siblings likewise are not official representatives of their nations nor will likely ever be. They may have titles and be related to the monarch and heir but they're not going to be part of the working group.

That says more about the sparcity of genuine male royals to undertake that sort of role in advertising such dangers than it does about anything else. With the exception of the King himself and William, who have they got? The very elderly Duke of Kent and several non working royals.
Mike has never been anywhere near the armed forces, at a professional level, and, while I?m sure he enjoyed himself wearing a helmet and trundling around in a tank for the day, the fact that he was used by the MofD is really truly pathetic!

Well, the Tindalls like Australia and the family spend several months here each year, so Mia supporting the Wallabies is quite natural,I suppose. She wouldn't remember her father's rugby career on a personal level anyway.
