It is lovely to see that some of the Spanish royals came together for the National Sports Award event. Queen Sofia looked wonderful in her red dress suit! It was nice to see her this time, especially with King Juan Carlos. King Felipe & Queen Letizia looked great as usual & they will always be on my top list of great kings and queens. They represent class and dignity!

This award is granted by the Superior Council of Sports in an effort to recognise "people or entities that, either by their direct activity or personal initiative, as well as participants in the development of sports policy, have contributed in a prominent way to promoting or spreading physical sport activity," according to Casa Real.

Iñigo Méndez de Vigo, the Minister of Culture and Sport; Marcial Marín, The Secretary of State for Education, Vocational Training and Universities; and José Ramón Lete, the President of the Higher Council of Sports.
