It's grouse season. I think William is probably shooting at Birkhall in addition to accompanying his grandmother to church. Both activities are probably better than sitting with Kate and her sick bucket! Char and Maria might be with him too or down at Bucklebury. I imagine it would be quite dull for Charlotte at KP with her brother at school all day, and not even Uncle Harry paying a visit!
