The Earl of Wessex, Chancellor, this morning visited the Centre for Sustainable and Circular Technologies at the University of Bath, Claverton Down, Bath, Somerset.

His Royal Highness, Chancellor, afterwards presided at Degree Congregations at the University of Bath.

The Countess of Wessex, Patron, National Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Children, this morning attended a Meeting with European Non-Governmental Organisations at the Residence of Her Majesty's Ambassador to the Kingdom of Belgium in Brussels.

Her Royal Highness later arrived at Heathrow Airport, London, from Belgium.

Mr Alexander Stonor was in attendance.

The Countess of Wessex this afternoon attended a Carol Service held by The Duchess of Cambridge in Westminster Abbey, London SW1.

The Earl of Wessex, Trustee, The Duke of Edinburgh's Award, this afternoon held a Meeting with Ms Ruth Marvel (Chief Executive Officer) via video link.

The Countess of Wessex this morning departed from Heathrow Airport, London, for Qatar and was received this evening upon arrival at Hamad International Airport, Doha, by Her Majesty's Ambassador to the State of Qatar (His Excellency Mr Jonathan Wilks).

Mr Alexander Stonor is in attendance.

IMO it's the perfect place to post it. We know that royals do make private visits to their many charities/patronages that won't be recorded officially. However if we do receive word of them occurring then please  post in the Official Duties/Current Events threads for the British, European, Asian, Middle Eastern and African monarchies.

The Countess of Wessex today undertook engagements in Doha, Qatar.

Her Royal Highness, Global Ambassador, International Agency for the Prevention of Blindness, this morning called upon His Excellency Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al-Thani (Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs).

The Countess of Wessex, Global Ambassador, International Agency for the Prevention of Blindness, later visited Qatar Charity, Energy City, Lusail.

Her Royal Highness, Global Ambassador, International Agency for the Prevention of Blindness, this afternoon visited the National Museum of Qatar, Museum Park Street.

The Countess of Wessex afterwards planted a tree at the British Embassy to commemorate The Queen's Platinum Jubilee.

The Countess of Wessex, Global Ambassador, International Agency for the Prevention of Blindness, afterwards called upon Dr Hanan Al Kuwari (Minister of Public Health).

Her Royal Highness, Global Ambassador, International Agency for the Prevention of Blindness, later called upon Sheikha Hind bint Hamad Al Thani (Vice-Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, Qatar Foundation).

The Countess of Wessex this afternoon called upon Lolwah Rashid Mohammed Al-Khater (Assistant Foreign Minister and Spokesperson, Ministry of Foreign Affairs) at Park View Villas and met women who had recently left Afghanistan.

Her Royal Highness this evening attended a Women in Leadership Dinner at Qalamkarri, Banyan Tree Doha.

I agree with her and as a parent/educator understand her concerns. She has two older teens now who have had access to various topics through their school work etc...especially during the  lock down months.
The internet  when used safely is a great resource and has offered students, parents/guardians and educators access to a vast array of information. However we all know the dark side of it as well./
