Here is something that just popped up on PBS here, *The Earthshot Prize* will be on PBS this Wednesday at 7PM here in the midwest, wonder if Prince William be on. Yes, I have it scheduled to watch!

So far 3 continents have hosted the event and now it's Africa's turn.

NEW: Prince William has arrived at The Oval Cricket ground to celebrate a new multi-million pound deal between @EarthshotPrize winner @notpla, and Levy UK + Ireland which will see an expected 75 million plastic-free disposable food packages used across 50+ sports and entertainment venues over 3 years.

The Prince of Walas as Founder and President of The Earthshot Prize paid a visit in London today, March 8, "to celebrate the scaling of Earthshot Prize solutions following the launch of the Prize in 2020", he visited "The Kia Oval Cricket Ground with Earthshot Prize winner, Notpla, to hear about a new multi-million-pound contract with Levy UK + Ireland, part of Compass Group, to introduce Notpla's seaweed-based, natural food packaging to over 50 sporting and event venues":

Prince William appoints a new Director to the Earthshot Prize — 

Ric Lewis, 61, runs 'the only black-owned private equity fund in London'. He is one of Britain's most prominent black achievers and was ranked first, in 2019, in the Powerlist, an annual list of the country's influential people with African or Afro-Caribbean heritage.

Lewis, who founded Tristan Capital Partners, commented in 2019 on the fact that he wasn't invited to join boards of companies, unlike his white contemporaries. He said: 'I have been a CEO on two continents, I have started three companies, I have run billions of capital — £12 billion here and £20 billion in my last company, all started from scratch, and I don't get calls for boards here.'>  credit Richard Eden
