Title: Countess of Wessex meets Downton Abbey's Mr Carson
Post by: cinrit on November 27, 2014, 01:11:14 PM
QuoteIn his role as Mr Carson, Jim Carter is used to dealing with the nobility. But he upgraded from Lady Mary this week when he had a royal encounter with the Countess of Wessex.

It was Sophie's turn to give the Downton Abbey actor a hand, as she helped him call out the winners of a raffle prize at a charity event.

Taking centre stage at St George's Church in London, Sophie was attending an engagement for charity Tomorrow's People, of which she is patron. The foundation is celebrating its 30th anniversary this year.

Dressed in a smart tuxedo blazer and cigarette trousers, Sophie looked as elegant as ever as she added a pop of colour to her outfit with a blue and white patterned top.

The Countess looked to be enjoying a merry evening out as she mingled with other Downton stars, including Laura Carmichael, who plays Lady Edith, and Penelope Wilton, who portrays Isobel Crawley.
