Princess Mary was the daughter of King George V and Queen Mary of Great Britain.
In 1922 she married Henry Lascelles, Viscount Lascelles, who became the Earl of Harewood.
In 1913, before the First World War, which European princes were being considered as a possible husband for Princess Mary?

If Princess Mary had married a German royal from a principality or a kingdom of the Empire of Germany, how would her father King George V have handled the situation that he had a German son-in-law?

Since the German monarcy ended in 1918, it was highly unlikely that any of the Brtisih royals would marry into the family.....
