The King of Lesotho visited The King this morning.

The Rt Hon Oliver Dowden MP (Deputy Prime Minister) and Mrs Antonia Romeo (Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Justice and Clerk of the Crown in Chancery) were received by The King and Queen today and presented to Their Majesties the Coronation Roll.

Her Excellency Dame Cynthia Pratt was received by The King this afternoon upon assuming her appointment as Governor-General of the Commonwealth of the Bahamas.

Mr Federico Marchetti (Chairman of the Sustainable Markets Initiative's Fashion Task Force) was received by His Majesty.

The Rt Hon Rishi Sunak MP (Prime Minister and First Lord of the Treasury) had an audience of The King.

The Queen, Patron, this morning held a Meeting for Her Majesty's Reading Room at Clarence House.

The Queen this afternoon held a Reception at Buckingham Palace to recognise those who support survivors of sexual assault and to mark the relaunch of Her Majesty's Wash Bags project.

Did they discuss at this meeting where the next Commonwealth Games is to be held in 2026? Because, ever since the Andrews Govt here in Victoria decided not to proceed in Melbourne because of the vast expense, (something any competent people in authority should have realised BEFORE agreeing to it) the next Games has been handed around various cities of the Commonwealth like a game of 'Pass the Parcel'. The UK, NZ, Singapore, Ghana, etc etc. All knocked it back. Now Glasgow is the latest victim (as a 'last resort' location). Apparently hardly prestigious, is it?
