Redoing the sitting room at York Cottage

Prince George, the Duke of York, with his mother Alexandra's assistance and without Princess Victoria Mary of Teck's arrival, had finished York Cottage entirely before his bride's arrival at York Cottage.   
Princess Mary insisted on redoing the sitting room in yellow and white. These colors were more pleasing to Mary than its original browns and tans.
