I watched the entire ceremony and found it very moving. Countless touching moments made it an extraordinary event. I cannot imagine what the private ceremony will be like for the family.

Yes but burial very private for family members only but no release pictures is limited off!!

I was up around 5 this morning and began watching the feed from Sky News. It was excellent. I managed to see the entire funeral before I had to go to work. Then I just finished watching the Committal Service at St. George's Chapel.

As usual it was a stunning and stirring service for the longest reigning monarch in British history. She was close to meeting France's Louis XIV reign record. The music, the color...even among all the black, and the sheer number the crowds who came to bid  her farewell. I'm glad that the final burial will just be for her family.

As to today's seating for the foreign royals,  I believe that it was the late Queen's choice to have her fellow Queen Reagents-The Netherlands (Queen) Princess Beatrix and Denmark's Queen Margrethe I take the place of honor in the front row of the foreign reigning households. If Romania was a constitutional monarchy that permitted females to reign, then I believe that Margareta who is the Custodian of the Crown would have been there with them.

I also believe that it was the late Queen's decision as to where to seat her family members today. I believe that the late Queen knew that she might not live long after the DoE's passing and may have made some alterations to some of her original plans.  As we saw today,  her wishes were honored at the services.

From the Guardian (Aus) a report on the huge Metropolitan Police operations over the past fortnight. All leave cancelled of course.

?After what was described as the biggest security and policing operation in London?s history, the Metropolitan police has released the number of arrests it made during the 11 days after the Queen?s death.

It said it had made 67 arrests in the areas near the palace and Westminster Hall as of 5pm on Monday, for what it said was a range of offences.

More than 3,000 officers from almost every force in the UK were helping the Met?s operation in London. A total of 10,000 officers were deployed for the Queen?s funeral on Monday.

Armed police, motorbike escort riders, officers carrying out patrols on horseback, dog teams and the marine unit were among the specialist teams involved.

Rooftop snipers were in place while the cortege was moving, accompanied by a helicopter escort anywhere outside of the capital, PA Media.

There were more than 22 miles of barriers in central London alone to control crowds and keep key areas secure.

About 2,300 police officers were in place to oversee the Queen?s final journey from Westminster Abbey to Windsor Castle.

About a thousand lined the route, alongside military personnel, from the Abbey to Wellington Arch while the Queen?s coffin was carried from the service by gun carriage.?

Beautiful funeral, watched it when I got home. Touching tribute including having her corgis there.

I am happy there is a private ceremony and no photos. This family also deserves a time to grieve in private.

Man who appeared to grab flag draped over Queen's coffin did not believe she was dead, court hears | UK News | Sky News

The individual who was arrested for trying to grab the standard over the Queen?s coffin is, from all the evidence, extremely mentally ill, and is unlikely to face court proceedings due to this. He has to receive further treatment at a mental health facility while on bail.

He suffered from delusions and had decided to track the Queen down at all her residences and speak to her as he did not believe that she was deceased.

The Queen's final resting place has been marked with a simple ledger stone reuniting her for eternity with her adored husband and parents.
It reads simply:
George VI 1895-1952
Elizabeth 1900-2002
Elizabeth II 1926 - 2022
Philip 1921-2021

In between the two couples there is a single metal Garter Star, the insignia of the Order of the Garter, the country's oldest and most noble order of chivalry. It was installed on Monday night after her interment in the King George VI Memorial Chapel at Windsor.

The general public will be able to view the Queen's final resting place from Thursday September 29 as part of a general tour of Windsor Castle.

The General Tour, basically some of what is located only where indicated LOWER WARD

Three relatives from Germany attended the Queen's funeral and memorial service: Prince Bernhard of Baden (Great Nephew of PP), Prince Philipp of Hohenlohe-Langenburg (grandson of PP eldest sister, Princess Margaritaand) Prince Heinrich Donatus of Hesse (He is distantly related to PP. PP third sister, Princess Cecilie, was married to Hereditary Grand Duke Georg Donatus of Hesse and by Rhine in 1931. They had four children, three of whom died in a plane crash that took their lives.)

I don't know if anyone happened to catch a glance of the late Queen's groom with her Fell pony Emma waiting by the Long Walk for the procession. Emma was saddled and HM's Hermes headscarf was draped on the saddle. Elizabeth II rode Emma for 20 years which was long after her doctors had requested that she give up riding.

Quote
The late Queen's groom paid a personal tribute to her yesterday, looping her riding headscarf through the saddle of her favourite pony Emma as they said farewell.
Terry Pendry, who worked as stud groom and manager to Her Majesty The Queen for 25 years, held the reins of Queen Elizabeth's fell pony in one of the most moving scenes on the day of her funeral.
Mr Pendry was seen bowing his head on the Long Walk, Windsor, in a final salute to the boss he came to know well, often riding together and building a respectful friendship based on their mutual love of horses.
