A very Happy 18th Birthday to the Princess of Asturias.  :bday7:



A few videos from today's Oath Swearing with carefully coordinated family attire:The Princess of Asturias is in a white pantsuit which reminds me of the one her mother wore when her engagement to Prince Felipe was announced.  The King in morning suit with a blue tie. The Queen is wearing blue and Infanta Sofia is in a blue and white dress. There are no other members of the SRF present. The actual swearing the oath is short, but is accompanied by speeches and plenty of applause and shouts of "Viva la Princessa!"

This is an amazing and historic moment for all Spain but especially for this family. The King must be so proud as must Queen Leti, but obviously with mixed thoughts at the huge responsibilities in front of their daughter.

The private family party included members of Leonor's paternal and maternal family members including her more distant Greek royal relations.
