As Prince Christian came of age, he was joined by other young future monarchs to celebrate his 18th birthday.

The young heirs joined for a photo in the Fl?ylsgemakket of Christiansborg Palace, much like they did a year ago for Princess Ingrid Alexandra?s 18th birthday in Norway.

The photograph features 11-year-old Princess Estelle of Sweden (second in line to the Swedish throne), 19-year-old Princess Ingrid Alexandra of Norway (second in line to the Norwegian throne), 18-year-old Prince Christian (second in line to the Danish throne), 19-year-old Princess Amalia of the Netherlands (first in line to the Dutch throne) and 21-year-old Princess Elisabeth of Belgium (first in line to the Belgian throne).
