UK Parliament has released its report on ?Support for childcare and the early years? today.

Princess Kate & the Royal Foundation?s Centre for @Earlychildhood
are mentioned in the report.

?The Princess of Wales has done important work to raise the profile of the Early Years through her Royal Foundation Centre for Early Childhood.  Its 2020 report ?State of the Nation: Understanding Public Attitudes to the Early Years? stressed the importance of elevating the importance of the early years period in the public consciousness.?

The Princess of Wales is making an impact with her early years work and it's been noted by Parliament.

Kate has been mentioned in a new House of Commons Committee report about the Support for Childcare and the Early Years, published earlier this week.

It states: "to The Princess of Wales has done important work to raise the profile of the Early Years through her Royal Foundation Centre for Early Childhood. Its 2020 report 'State of the Nation: Understanding Public Attitudes to the Early Years' stressed the importance of elevating the importance of the early years period in the public consciousness.

The Princess of Wales during her visit to Streets of Growth, a not-for-profit youth intervention charity in east London which is working to transform the lives of young people at risk of becoming trapped in a cycle of isolation, exploitation, violence and criminality.

The Princess of Wales attended a Portage Session of the 'Shaping Us' campaign on early childhood in Sittingbourne today, September 27: SEND means Special Education Needs and Development.

Welcome | National Portage Association

Portage is a home-visiting educational service for pre-school children with SEND and their families.

Portage aims to:

    work with families to help them develop a quality of life and experience, for themselves and their young children, in which they can learn together, play together, participate and be included in their community in their own right.
    play a part in minimising the disabling barriers that confront young children and their families.
    support the national and local development of inclusive services for children.

The Princess of Wales, meets group members in the Arnos Arms during a visit to 'Dadvengers', a community for dads and their children, in Arnos Grove, north London.

It's to highlight the important role that Dads play in their children's earliest years as part of her Shaping Us campaign on early childhood.

The Princess of Wales and The Royal Foundation Centre for Early Childhood will host The Shaping Us National Symposium in London on Wednesday.
I?m told HRH will be giving a landmark speech - the biggest she?s ever delivered - explaining her vision for her work in this field.

The symposium brings together cross-disciplinary leaders, child and adult specialists, and global thinkers for the first time.
@Earlychildhood has also conducted an exercise involving experts from 21 countries to unite thinking on the foundational skills laid in early childhood.

The Princess of Wales will explain why she works on early years, how links to her mental health work and setting out her vision for the future of her work. It?s going to be a huge moment for her.

Baby Basics CEO Cat Ross tells HELLO! that the charity is "thrilled that HRH The Princess of Wales and the Royal Foundation Centre For Early Childhood are continuing their commitment to the early years and specifically the baby bank sector through this Christmas public ask".

Cat continues: "As with most charities across the UK right now and especially in the baby bank sector, we are facing our busiest winter yet with the cost of living crisis not just having an impact on increasing demand for our services but a drop in donations and volunteers.
