Not one media has said what infection?

Lady C said in one of her latest youtube videos, he's got a urine infection, at that age if not cured, you can die of sepsis.

She's guessing, doesn't know any more than anyone else. However, as I said in a former post (and I don't know either) PP probably has a bladder infection or something of that sort as that's been a recurring trouble of his for several years, and it's known to be fairly common among older males.

IMO she knows more than anyone here. She parties and tea with several in the know. She hasn't been sued since last week, when youtubing.

In other words she doesnt use allegedly or maybe, nope she said to her watchers "yes, I know what he has" stated it.

The Duke of Edinburgh was today transferred from King Edward VIIs Hospital to St Bartholomews Hospital where doctors will continue to treat him for an infection, as well as undertake testing and observation for a pre-existing heart condition.

The Duke remains comfortable and is responding to treatment but is expected to remain in hospital until at least the end of the week.

Too many days, change of specialization hospital,  not good IMO.

Amabel2

Poor Philip I'm sure he does not want to be moved around to different hospitals...

TLLK

Thank you for sharing the update @PrincessOfPeace. I agree that Prince Phillip will not be happy with having to be transferred and hospitalized again. Whatever is going on requires him to be in the hospital and is beyond the capabilities of at home care at WC. Yes this is serious.

Historical note- St. Bartholomew's Hospital is the oldest one in the UK at 900 years old. It's name sake was one of Jesus' 12 Apostles who was martyred. He's the patron saint for many causes including:  neurological diseases; skin diseases;

Why has Prince Philip been transferred to St Bartholomew's hospital? | Prince Philip | The Guardian

QuoteThe Duke of Edinburgh has been transferred to St. Bartholomew's Hospital in London, and Buckingham Palace has announced that the 99-year-old required observation for an existing heart condition.

It is not known if his earlier admission to King Edward VII?s hospital in central London was as a result of this condition, or unrelated. The only details previously given were that he was treated for a non-Covid-19-related infection and was responding to medication.

But his transfer may indicate that his heart condition now necessitates more specialist treatment than is possibly available at the King Edward VII, the hospital of choice for senior royals.

Philip was given a stent in 2011 for a blocked coronary artery after being admitted to Papworth hospital in Cambridgeshire over the Christmas period after having chest pains.

The minimally invasive procedure involves pushing a balloon into the artery and blowing it up to remove the blockage. The duke remained in hospital for a short while for observation.

St Bartholomew?s hospital is Britain?s oldest hospital, and will celebrate its 900th anniversary in 2023. It is part of the Barts Health NHS trust in the City of London.

It is a centre of excellence in cardiac care, and, according to the NHS website, has Europe?s largest specialised cardiovascular centre. Barts Heart Centre is based in the hospital?s state-of-the-art King George V building.

It has 10 theatres, and 10 cath labs, where tests and procedures including ablation, angiograms, angioplasty and implantation of pacemakers are carried out. In total it has more than 300 general, cardiac and critical care beds.

The NHS has said that the centre aspires to perform more heart surgery, MRI and CT scans than any other service in the world, and boosts survival rates well above the national average.

This is not a good sign of course at Prince Philip's age, but St Barts is one of the best hospitals in the country for anyone with a heart condition. He had a stent put into his heart some years ago I believe. However, when it comes down to it the man is nearly 100 years old. The body just doesn't mend itself and recover very easily at that age.

It's possible that if he had been Mr Joe Bloggs he might not now be still with us, but even so there may come a point when even though he is the Queen's husband his doctors may bow to the inevitable. That doesn't mean Prince Philip is about to die tomorrow, but the reality is that he is a very very old man who is quite ill. My thoughts and prayers are with him and with the Queen and his entire family of course.

I have agreed with you my feeling bad for HM Queen Elizabeth II missed Duke of Edinburgh?s side for two weeks in row!! @Curryong

At 99 there's really only so much a body can take. Glad to see though that he's at one of  the nation's best hospital for cardiac care.
Sad to see though that just like when Capt. Sir Tom Moore was hospitalized, that the social media trolls are already out in force.

^ Yes, I just seen that in social media, all the RR's changing the tune to prayers.

Lady C claims she has 2 reliable sources: PP was changed from hospital because he had seen the Meghan and Harry teasers, his blood pressure went shot, his heart failed, ambulance.

The timing is coincidence, but...Disclaimer: Posting what Lady C said in her latest YouTube show. I call it a show, because the lady has a huge number of viewers, like better than TV.

Curryong

If you believe Lady CC about anything at all, sorry but 'more fool you'. She's had it in for Harry and Meghan ever since FF blew her epistle out of the water. As for her claim that PP went into cardiac arrest because he saw the two teasers of the Oprah interview, pleeeeeze!

Princess Cassandra

I hope I am not being overly optimistic, but I would say that if the situation was dire, they wouldn't be moving him on for tests and monitoring.  Am I right in thinking he wouldn't stand for it if his health status was deteriorating?  Surely he would only agree if there's a good chance of improvement.
