Crown Prince Pavlos to accept important award on behalf of King Charles III ? Royal Central

QuoteCrown Prince Pavlos has been nominated by King Charles III to accept the Athenagoras Human Rights Award on behalf of The Prince?s Trust.

The Prince?s Trust is receiving the Athenagoras Human Rights Award because of The King?s understanding of the edict ?love your neighbour as yourself,? according to Dr. Dr. Anthony J. Limberakis, a national commander behind the Archons of the Ecumenical Patriarchate which administers the award.

?And in the Prince?s Trust, he has brilliantly demonstrated the meaning and importance of that divine command. The Trust thus richly deserves to receive the Athenagoras Human Rights Award.?

Crown Prince Pavlos has served with the Prince?s Trust International since its inception in 2015, first serving as the Chair of the Global Advisory Board. In 2022, following King Charles?s accession, he took on a more significant role within the charity and currently serves as the international branch?s Vice President.

I'm glad that has been sorted out now. While Charles' sons have made it clear that they wanted to go their own way with charities that were of interest and meaning to them, I wouldn't be surprised if a couple are absorbed into William's in the future. Now it's time for me to make some modifications.

Charles' youth charity Prince's Trust becomes King's Trust | Reuters

QuoteLONDON, Nov 10 (Reuters) - The youth charity started by Britain's King Charles when he was still a prince - the Prince's Trust - will now become the King's Trust, Buckingham Palace said on Friday.

Charles, who became king last year after the death of his mother Queen Elizabeth, set up the charity in 1976 to tackle high youth unemployment and so far it has supported over a million young people.

The charity helps young people aged 11 to 30 get into jobs, education and training. Its beneficiaries have included "The Wire" actor Idris Elba, who used a 1,500 pound ($1,840) grant from the trust to help start his career.

Two other charities started by Charles will also change their names to reflect his accession to the throne.

The Prince of Wales's Charitable Fund will become the King Charles III Charitable Fund, while the Prince's Foundation will become the King's Foundation, the palace said.

What a great idea, I checked them out and wish the bank account wasn't so dry right now...I would love a short robe.
